You are currently viewing What Patients Say About One-Visit Crowns by Lifetime Smiles

Do you have chipped, weak, or cracked teeth that require restoration with dental crowns? Have you postponed going to the dentist due to past negative experiences?

Traditionally, getting a dental crown involved wearing a temporary crown for a few weeks until the permanent restoration is ready. It’s common for temporary crowns to fall out at the most inopportune times, leaving the patient in need of an emergency dental visit.

Maybe you’ve experienced going to the dentist for placement of a new, permanent crown but instead you had to wear another temporary because the new one didn’t fit properly. In these cases, the whole process must begin again.

What if we told you that you could receive a beautiful, custom-fit, permanent ceramic crown in one visit?

At Lifetime Smiles, our doctors offer one-visit CEREC crowns.

That’s right! You can have a perfectly fitted, natural-looking crown in a single appointment. This exciting option utilizes the latest, most advanced technology so that you can enjoy a renewed, strong and beautiful smile immediately.

Testimonials from One-Visit Crown Patients of Lifetime Smiles

With all the positive feedback we receive at Lifetime Smiles, it’s hard to choose only a few patient testimonials to share. Here’s a rundown of just some of the reviews we’ve received from

No Temporary or Second Visit

One of our patients, Larry C. (testimonial came from Yelp), appreciates our overall care and states that he has referred many other patients to us, but he adds that he loves the one-visit crowns with no temporary or second visit. He also admits that we offer “absolutely painless” numbing. (We do this with our state-of-the-art computerized anesthesia delivery system!) Thanks for the referrals, Larry! You’re the best!

A Pleasant Experience at the Dentist

Another patient, Ron G. (testimonial came from Google +), says that we have made going to the dentist a “pleasant experience” for him. He also speaks of our modern technology and his wife’s crown replacement, remarking about her amazement that it was “painless” and took just two hours at one visit. In addition, he appreciates how “nice and accommodating” our team is. Well, we appreciate you and your wife, Ron!

Cutting-Edge Technology

Patrick S. (testimonial came from Google +) told us that in the beginning, he felt apprehensive about the prospect of having to spend two hours at the dentist’s office for what turned out to be dental decay beneath a gold crown. In the end, however, he loved our team, our cutting-edge technology, and the fact that we fixed his problem and restored his tooth in one visit. We love winning over patients like Patrick. It’s a challenge we always accept and win!

How are one-visit ceramic crowns possible?

At Lifetime Smiles, we utilize advanced dental technology, including CEREC®, which stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. This remarkable system allows us to design, fabricate, and place a permanent, tooth-colored, custom dental crown in about an hour. Total treatment time averages two hours, but it’s so worth the longer appointment.

You won’t have to endure messy, gummy, awful-tasting impressions that are normally required. Instead, we use digital impressions, which are not only more pleasant for you but offer more accurate results. The digital impressions and Drs. Mallakis and McDonald expertise, along with the CEREC software, design a dental crown with precision. Next, we place a block of ceramic into the CEREC milling unit. The doctor will select ceramic that matches the color of teeth on either side of your tooth to be crowned.

Over about an hour, the milling unit will sculpt your new crown, and we’ll permanently secure it. You’ll leave the appointment with a strong and beautiful crown – not a temporary!
