The winter chill of December is in the air. The excitement of children is also. Those aren’t the only things. Santa Claus is in the air too! If you want to see Santa while he’s on the ground, we’ve got the time and place for you.
The California Center for the Arts in Escondido is hosting it’s Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland Festival on December 5th from 3pm to 8pm. Besides Santa Claus there will be many other attractions for kids and adults.
For those that want to experience snow in San Diego, there will be real snow for the children to play in. Children will also get to decorate their own Christmas cookies. They also have the chance to meet Santa’s friends who help him get around in a live reindeer encounter.
Carolers and other kinds of holiday entertainers will be performing to make the season bright. There will be food and drink available as well as the opportunity to do gift shopping with local vendors. The lighted Winter Wonderland Forest will begin at dusk. Can you feel the excitement already? The California Center for the Arts says that there will be other surprises, so don’t miss this event.
The California Center for the Arts is located at 340 N Escondido Blvd, Escondido, CA 92025. The event will take place in the Lyric Court area of the center.
